AI 101 is a patient Friendship Tour for people who want competence and confidence, not jargon and hype. You begin by naming the usual worries and setting them down. Then you learn what modern AI chat tools actually are, and how ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini feel like three different kinds of helpful friends:

• ChatGPT, the Spark Friend — the versatile friend who has tried everything and always has an idea
• Claude, the Careful Reader — the bookish friend who reads the whole thread and wordsmiths with you
• Gemini, the Kitchen-Table Neighbor — the friend who already lives in your Google world and helps where you already are

You pick one friend, then run a safe first practice session. A companion prompts file gives you copy-paste asks for that first conversation and more practice afterward.
